Lost on earth is a puzzle game in which you help two aliens to repair their broken spaceship so that they can return to their home planet.
Even though I focus a lot on 3D art and designing games during my studies, it was also important for me to gain an insight into programming games. As part of a lecture, I developed the game “Lost on earth” together with two fellow students. My role in this project was to design the graphics, design the levels, program the various modes in the game and register the user input.
The biggest challenge was definitely the programming part and I have to admit that I had a lot of help for this. But I am glad to have done it and learned (that programming wasn’t my strength) a lot and gained more of an insight into this aspect of game development.
